The Appearing is a FREE national event happening Oct 11-14 that will invite your community to learn timely truths about the Second Coming in a fascinating, documentary-style approach.

2. To provide a safe place to complete the 50 mile cycling honor requirement.

Classes typically meet for 90 minutes once a week for nine weeks and are led by a volunteer coordinator. The accountability and motivation you receive from discussing the lessons and meeting with people face-to-face is the key to changing your life!
This is a fairly easy trail for families with young children. The dirt trail goes along the lake. The initial steep downhill to the lake trail may be a little challenging but the rest of the trail is gentle up and down.
From Sacramento, take 50 East/El Dorado Fwy 48 miles to Sly Park Rd in Pollock Pines (Exit 60). Drive 4.5 miles south on Sly Park Rd, pass Sly Park main entrance, and turn left on Mormon Emigrant Trail. Pass two dams, and park on the right side of the road right after the second dam, near Bumpy Meadows parking area. We will meet at the Bumpy Meadows trail head. Parking is free on the side of the road. It will cost $5 to park at the Bumpy Meadows parking.
Dogs are allowed on the trail but not in the water.
You may bring swimwear and towels/slippers to play in the water.
Travel time: about 65 minutes one way.
April 8, 2017 Risen is a 2016 American biblical drama film directed by Kevin Reynolds; it was conceived from a screenplay written by Reynolds and Paul Aiello. The film stars Joseph Fiennes, Tom Felton, Peter Firth, and Cliff Curtis, and details a Roman soldier’s search for Jesus‘ body following his Resurrection. Columbia Pictures released the film to theaters nationwide in the United States on February 19, 2016.
